There's so much noise, so much food that gets thrown on the floor, so many toys all over the place, so much to keep track of. The parents I was staying with couldn't do ANYTHING for more than 5 minutes without being interrupted. Personally, I wouldn't be able to get anything done in random spurts of 5-minute intervals. Kids are great, but they're way too needy. :)
The 17 Bottles Of project began with Urs and Sig and a bunch of other people in 1999. Unfortunately, the original, in a blue spiral notebook, has vanished. It was a fun project, though, so we're starting over. Hopefully this one will be a bit harder to misplace.
2011 UPDATE: Word on the streets is that the J.Mo. has located the notebook and has it in her possession. We'd love to see it some day...

Right now I am visiting a friend who has 2 children, and it *is* horrible. I have no idea how these people can deal with this every single day.
You guys are hilarious :)
